The Next President

America is fearful and uncertain of the future. We have lost confidence in our system, Wall Street, our Government, our leaders, and worst of all ourselves.



Fear feeds fear, anxiety feeds anxiety! The world needs to perceive a change, a new hope, a change in direction. While John McCain is a great patriot and war hero he has shown no ability to inspire Americans to believe that better days are ahead. Regrettably, Senator McCain has missed opportunity after opportunity to show us the leadership during his campaign that our country so badly needs. I do not believe as many do that McCain is an extension of Bush. That said, the world and a vast majority of the country do, and perception is reality.



John McCain is a great American who's time is past and he looks more like Bob Dole lately than the American Hero and Leader that he really is. One must therefore conclude that Senator McCain just simply does not get it! He has lost both debates - not inspired anyone about anything - and just simply seems out of touch. In that way he then becomes an extension of Bush.



What the county needs is hope that we can make the move to a new way. We need to restore confidence in the midst of despair. We need something to make us believe that it won't be the same old stuff come January 20th. John Kennedy and Ronald Reagan inspired us to believe that our best days were ahead. We need that more than ever. Senator OBama, to be clear, has many faults and had the Republican Party put forth a younger more dynamic leader I believe OBama would not be the next president. But that did not happen and John McCain had candidly not earned the job. He seems tired, listless, and detached from what is happening.



Obama will electrify the country immediately after November 4th and for months into 2009 as we watch a new government form. I believe that many times style trumps substance. America needs that right now and therefore Barack OBama will be the next President of The United States. God Bless America - we will need it!
